Members of the Alumni Association of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Nasarawa State Branch, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman in his office.
Welcoming the visitors, Abdul Rahman thanked them for the visit, charging them to always put in their best “while serving the nation in every capacity you find yourself.”
He said the ABU Zaria was known for its “integrity and excellence,” appealing to all former and present students of the institution to uphold the values of discipline and hard work.
Barrister Mohammed A. Tiga, who led members of the delegation, said they were at the vice-chancellor’s office to congratulate him on his recent appointment.
He reminded the vice-chancellor of the need to be grateful to God Almighty Who has favoured him through giving him the opportunity to reach “the highest pinnacle of his career.”
